Our Mission is to maintain a supportive community for heterosexual men and women living with HIV/AIDS by sharing experiences, facing challenges and celebrating successes together.
Our purposeis to offer a network of support to our heterosexual, HIV+ peers with an interactive website, organized social events and phone bank.
Heterosexuals with HIV have a tough time finding other "straight pozzies" in our community. We are positive men and women trying to meet other poz heteros without fear and the percieved barrier of disclosing our HIV+ status. It can be hard to get information on our disease or find that special someone we can confide in. Here's a way to reach out to other straight HIV+ people and connect to our world.
Often times feeling better about living with HIV comes from being with others who are living the poz hetero life. Valley+ Club is a peer driven group for HIV+ heterosexuals. Originally based in the San Fernando Valley, the ever growing numbers of straight pozzies has expanded our circle of friends beyond Los Angeles County. Those who are able, meet socially. We encourage "club members" to get with others from the group for activities in their neighborhoods.
If you like connecting through the internet, we're tailoring this site as a network of HIV forums, bulletin boards, heterochat rooms and soon to be launched pozblog and picture album.
Browse through our pages. Contact us. Write an entry in a forum or start a chat group. Keep the confidentiality and respect going. Let's connect.
